Goosebumps - Welcome to the Camp Nightmare

Book : Goosebumps - Welcome to the Camp Nightmare
Genre : Horror
Author : R.L.Stine

1. What is the basic story line of this book?

Billie is a main character of this book. He went to the camp nightmoon. At first, he enjoys this camp with his friends. However, strange creatures and ghosts take his friends. As the day passed, more and more his friends are disappearing but other students and teachers don't care about that. Instead, they really enjoy this camp. One day, two girls, Dawn and Dori swam across a stream to meet Billie. Because girls and boys live in different place across the stream. The girls say this camp is very strange and Billie also thinks so. Billie tried to escape from this camp but it is too hard. In the end of this book, all students climb up a mountain and the teachers give students rifle to shoot two girls who escaped from the camp. But Billie said he can't, and suddenly one of the teachers said congratulation. Actually, the camp was just a test to get ready to go to one of the most dangerous places in the Universe, the Earth. Billie got responsibility, and he learned how to don't do wrong behavior. All students and teachers except Billie were actors and they were aliens.

2. Do you  like the characters?

Yes. I especially like Billie. Because he is very brave, he is very adventurous, and he has a strong responsibility. He tried to rescue his friends, and he saved Larry, one of the teachers. So his characteristic makes the story very interesting. Also, Dawn and Dori are important characters. They are also brave and they have good judgment. They didn't appear in the story a lot so they are not that influential and they are a little bit mysterious. However, they told Billie important information of the camp.

3. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this book?

I would rate this book an 9. Because the author R.L.Stine made very interesting story. This book is very interesting like other series. All parts of this book is interesting such as strange behavior of Uncle Tom and Larry, surprising reactions of Billie and his friends, and the characters' behaviors. But the ending is not imaginable and this book contains some unnecessary parts. So I would rate this book an 9.

Learning How to Ride a Bicycle

It was very hard and scary for me to learn or try something new. When I was eight years old, I started to learn how to ride a bicycle. At that time, my friends were able to ride their bicycle, but I wasn't able to ride a bicycle. I wasn't athletic, so I couldn't ride a bicycle, I couldn't ride an inline-stake, and I couldn't swim at all. However, I tried to overcome this.
At first, my father taught me how to ride a bicycle. My father always said, "At first, move the bicycle with a lot of power. Then, try to keep the balance while riding." However, I couldn't follow my father's advice well. I tried a lot of time but I lost my balance immediately. While trying to ride a bike, I fell down a lot and I hit other people and cars a lot. However, I continued to try to ride a bicycle while following my friends who can ride a bike really well.
One day, I played with my friend. He was one of my best friends and he was always kind to me. He also taught me how to ride a bicycle very kindly. He pulled me slowly and I was succeeded. After a few days, I could also ride on the corner. I was very happy. After that, I could ride a bicycle really well and I could play with my friends very well.
By learning how to ride a bike, I could play with my friends very well. But I got more valuable things. I learned how to try   something new, I learned how to wait for something, and I learned how to understand something. Also, I got my self-confidence. After that, I tried to do something new.

My Little Pets

Do you have any pets? Well, I had three hamsters. Not 'have', 'had'. Can you guess why I put 'had ', instead of 'have'? I will tell you later. Before that, I will tell you about my pets.
I went to my aunt's house every year. In 2006, I went to my aunt's house and she gave me three hamsters. There was a three hamsters' little house. Inside the house, there were a sit, a green equipment which the hamsters can exercise, and food. The hamsters were very tiny and cute, but dirty and smelly. They were gray and white. They were so tiny that I could put them in a cup. They hid their small bodies under the sit or they exercised with a small, green equipment.
I was very exciting at taking care of my pets. I should changed the dirty sit. I should fed them. Also, I should washed my hands after I changed the dirty sit, and give them foods. That was very hard work. But, I was very exciting and interesting at taking care of my pets everyday. Some day, they hid their small bodies under the sit. Another day, they were exercising with the small, green equipment. Another day, they were climbing up the house. I thought that sign was that they are hungry. Then, I gave them food. One day, I visited my cousin. I took my pets and showed him. He also liked the pets. However, I saw him and he was washing the hamsters in the water! Oh my god! But it was too late. The hamsters can't go into the water. My three hamsters all died.
I was so sad about that but it was too late and it was almost four to five years ago. That was very exciting experience and by that, my mother didn't buy pets. Even though my pets died, spending time with my pets was very good and anyway, it was very fun.
